What are some good sites to find some quality information about Rangnarok Online?

Why does the main server cost money when you can play for free. Does the paid server offer prizes and such?

I’ve already tried Runescape and Clubpenguin, which are browser-based, and didn’t like them that much (especially Clubpenguin which is really for 7-year-olds). Are there any RPGs that I can play/download on my mac like Sword of the New World or Ragnarok Online? Neither of them work on macs unless you set up a windows partition using bootcamp, which I CAN’T so please don’t suggest. Thanks.

Example: Im a kid, I downloaded this online game. It is Ragnarok (free download). I click on it and itll load but nothing will show up. Please help me =(
